Big news today as Guitar Legend Dick Dale announced supporting acts for his upcoming tour dates — and the Atlanta show will feature our very own desert-rock band The Buzzards of Fuzz.

Brother Oliver Shares Cryptic New Song Via Live Performance At The Peace Center
Today, Brother Oliver, a familiar member of the Future Chord family, shares with us their live performance of “The Orchestra (Is In My Head)”, which is the first new song we’ve heard from the band since their self-titled record released this past August.
The cryptic new song is lyrically concise and instrumentally progressive, something a bit different than what we’re used to hearing from the South Carolina folk-rockers.
Notably, the performance was filmed inside the Peace Center — a renowned 2,100-seat concert hall in Greenville, South Carolina. Circumstances surrounding the shoot still remain somewhat of a mystery, as the band has shared very few details regarding the live session.

Carpoolparty Announces 'February Love Tour'
Houston vapordance duo Carpoolparty have just announced their first tour of 2018. The nine show journey, booked by Future Chord, takes them across major cities in the Midwest and Southeast.

Vapordance Duo Carpoolparty Joins Future Chord Roster, Relocates to Houston
We're thrilled to welcome the extraordinary husband/wife duo Carpoolparty as the latest addition to the Future Chord roster. Garnering over 1 million plays on YouTube, their energetic vapordance sounds are right at home with fans of Phantogram, Purity Ring, and Crystal Castles.
Originally formed in South Carolina, the band quietly relocated to Houston last month to begin work on their upcoming project set for 2018 -- an audio/visual experience unlike any other.

Future Chord Curates Lineup, Partners with Greenville Parks and Recreation on Get Out Greenville 2017
We had a blast teaming up with our hometown yesterday for their annual Get Out Greenville festival to encourage healthy and active lifestyles. The event featured a 5k run and bicycle races, rock wall climbs and paddle-board demonstrations, dog tricks and coneys, and so much more.
When the city contacted us to curate the music lineup with a careful and family-friendly touch, we thought of none other than our local friends and crowd favorites in Brother Oliver, Courteous Monk, and Vilai Harrington.

Future Chord Fest 2017 Takes A Giant Leap Forward
For a second straight year, Future Chord Fest returned to The Spinning Jenny in Upstate, South Carolina -- this time with nearly twice the crowd size as the inaugural year and a sharpened focus on a diverse, hyperlocal lineup built around standout Charlotte indie rock headliners Junior Astronomers.
Memorable performances included the very last show by beloved Greenville college rock revivalists The Francis Vertigo; a collaborative set between Spartanburg indie-emo thumpers The Apartment Club and hip-hop head Ty Graves; and the final 2017 show from Anderson-based outfit Beket.
Carving a name as one of the brightest up-and-coming indie festivals in the Southeast, Future Chord Fest looks to top itself once again in 2018.

Future Chord Fest 2017 Announces First Wave of Bands
The first four bands at Future Chord Fest 2017 have been revealed, featuring a strong core of Upstate, South Carolina acts.
Setting the tone with their 90’s inspired indie rock is The Francis Vertigo, who return to The Spinning Jenny after an early summer performance there alongside The Whigs frontman Parker Gispert. Apricot Blush, the surreal indie folk project spearheaded by Jackson Wise and his revolving cast of characters, will help carry the torch for Pablo Generation. Gypsy folk punk group Wasted Wine bring along one of the most unique shows to the stage. And rounding out the first wave are the seasoned experimental pop rockers Excons.
